In a year full of Rob goodness, these events stood out the most to me.

Rob's Hair

You know what I'm talking about. The color, the length, the Cosmopolis style and haircut. The debate was endless. The worry needless.

Adopting Bear

It was/is sweet hearing Rob talk about Bear. With long and lanky legs and hair 17 different shades of brown, you knew they were a match.

Film Clips/Stills

Bel Ami, WFE, BD1, Cosmopolis. It never felt like we were in a true Rob Drought. But the one that took my breath away when I first saw it was Robward at the wedding ceremony. Who wouldn't want to see him waiting for you at the altar?

Awards Shows

Golden Globes, MTV, Teen Choice, ACMs, etc. If you don't tweet, you're missing out on the twitter frenzy surrounding these events. There's just something fun(ny) about being online at the same time as hundreds of fellow followers and trying to keep up. It always makes me smile. A group of us even Skyped and watched one of the shows together and commented along the way.

Sofar Sounds

For me, this was the biggest news event of the year. When they released the full recording of Rob's 2010 performance on May 16, 2011, I cried. It was an emotional experience and one I will never forget. I can remember emailing back and forth with Jeanette. She totally gets how I feel about Rob's music...his musician's soul. It was an epic day shared with an epic friend.

What can I say? I love slash and read very little het these days. The stories I stuck with, though, are outstanding. The slash circle is amazing, and I've made some great friends along the way. I can't say enough about Conversed, owenic, Bbebar, and mistyhaze420 as authors...and as individuals. I'm discovering new talent along the way and slowly getting to classics that people rec to me. Water for Elephants NYC Premiere

This was my first time seeing Rob up close and personal. It was everything and more.

LIVE! With Regis & Kelly

After virtually no sleep and waiting in line for hours, my group of 4 got into the show. We were numbers 3-6 and only 7 standby ticket holders were let in that day. Not only did we get to see Rob, but they held us over for a special second taping with Reese. We were ecstatic.

San Diego Comic-Con

I wish that I had proof that I met and had a brief conversation with Rob by drawing a winning raffle ticket, but no pictures were allowed during the autograph signing, other than by the media. This is what he looked like when I saw him though. I chose the suit from the Paris Breaking Dawn Promo. I love the color and he looks more relaxed without a tie--more Rob, if that makes sense. Plus, you guys know how I love the chest hair.
